October is nearly over.......

Hi There

Thanks for joining me for another Bizzy Becs Design team post. well October is almost
over, this year has gone so fast.

Today I would like to share with you a Birthday Card that I have made using some really great new
products that Bec ordered in for me.

Spring has felt like it would never get here so I thought I would make a bright and
colourful card for a friends birthday.

The background and stamped image have been watercoloured using both watercolour pans and Pencils from the Prima range and I have
added a few details with dimensional drops and simple layering.

Supplies used:
Stamp: Penny Black - Collage Of Wishes.
Dies: Memory box- Stitched Layered Squares
Lawn Fawn -  Everyday Sentiment Banners
Frantic Stamper_ Double Diamond Card Panel
Prima watercolour Pencils - The Basics and Soft Neutrals

Thanks for stopping by.
Now don't forget to go have a look at Bizzy Becs online store
as you still have some time to take advantage of the Super Saver Discounts

Wish Big with Lou

Hi, Lou  here to today to share my Bizzy Bec's DT project with you.

For this card I aimed to make a quick and easy shaker card,  ummmmmm, so didn't turn out that way.
I will share a tip with you that I learnt this week as I decided to change.  DO NOT use mono glue or Tacky glue for shaker cards.  It does not dry properly and remains sticky or tacky.  So your sequins will stick to any of the mono or tacky glue that has slipped out from the layers.

I ended up taking my card to pieces and salvaging the image to start again.

Here is the finished card....

All the items I used that are available from Bec's are pre-order.
Product from Bizzy Bec's with links.....

Penny Black Wish Big clear stamp set (which is on special at the moment with free shipping in Australia)

I coloured my image with Letraset Promarkers.

Thanks loads for dropping by
Lou

Joy Flight

Hello Fellow Crafters
Today I thought I'd make a man's card and create a scene.

How I made the card:
The blue background was achieved by sponging with a cloud stencil.
Grassy area I used green cardstock sponged a little and for the hills:
Memory Box - Golf club Landscape (I cut the flag off and added a couple more trees).
Die Namics - Rolling Hills
Memory Box - Puffy Clouds (sponged)
Frantic Stamper - Bi Plane
Memory Box - Flying Birds (BB used to have them)
One bird is from Impression Obsession - Sea Birds
Happy Birthday from PoppyCraft dies - Happy Birthday Balloon
I drew and coloured and cut the rocks out and pasted them.
Enjoy your week and happy crafting.
Hugs Carol

Elizabeth Crafts Design - Thinking of You

Hullo there everyone, Shaz here! Time to share with you another DT post. Trying the use of positive and negative of a word die again. I have two of these beautiful dies by Quietfire design for Elizabeth Crafts - one is a Happy birthday and the other is Thinking of you! I love these dies, because they are calligraphic and they cut so beautifully!

First card is using the negative space
1. Adhered the black background onto a sheet of double sided tape, added the floating black pieces in middle of letters I had saved when I cut the die.
2. Added the Cosmic Shimmer gilding flakes, Egyptian gold, pressing it well into sticky backed paper.
3. Then die cut a gold Spellbinder Gold Labels Four die (not on site but available from Bec, her Spellbinders are amazing prices!).
4. Embossed the black label with the same die to get the outline to hand cut around the inside shape of the die and popped it up on the gold. Matted it on handmade black and gold Chinese paper.
Added the black die cut to the sheet, then die cut the coloured gloss card with Spellbinder Pierced rectangles.
By adding it it before die cutting it became embedded in the gloss card and really looked great!
Also meant it wasn't easily going to come unstuck on glossy card, double bonus! Mounted it on black, then
added ribbon and hessian or burlap strip underneath.
That's it for today... I really appreciate all of you who call by to say hi!
